Its a good effort by Knights fans given last weeks humiliation and the lack of promotion. I am only now aware that this game is a regular thing. I thought if I wanted to go to an Anzac day game I had to go to SFS. I cannot express enough how useless the NRL is at promoting games.

The draws been out since November last year FFS
Anyone not knowing a game was on today in Newcastle Really can only blame themselves.
This BS excuse of lack of promotion is wearing thin

Fans need to take some ownership where support is concerned.

Yeah good idea Raiderdave, the "you come find us" kind of promotion. I would have considered going to this game but because I am not a Knights fan (as many in Newcastle are not) I don't bother looking at their draw through the season (heck I don't even look at my teams draw, where do I find it?), nor do many fringe league fans who the game would be promoted towards. Big time fail dude.

After 5 games we are 700 people behind that prediction so things are looking really good.

Are you serious? They have promoted the crap out of all the Anzac Day games. Newspaper adds, TV adds. Do they need to put a billboard outside your house?
