Last night was a case of better at University of Wollongong Australia Kogarah Jubilee Oval, Carlton South than at the Olympic Stadium. Canberra don't draw and it was fun to be there.

I get that it's hallowed ground and it's great to go there every so often but it really is only marginally better than Brookie or Leichhardt.

I'd say an appropriate split between grounds would be Wollongong 8, new ANZ 2, Kogarah 2 using Allianz while ANZ is being redone.

Agree with this, make sure one of those Kogarah games is the Sharks and everyone happy

My point is given a day game we would have had a few thousand more there. Its a very fine line between full and empty looking, only a couple of thousand makes a huge difference at Kogarah..

You shouldn't just suggest we go away from our spiritual home cos of one smallish crowd.

The wind chill factor is what made it cold last night..You probably had your heater on at home Dave watching on tv.

Whilst ever you have Thursday nights, you get far less families,as was evident last night.
Just like Monday nights.

The code gets full control of scheduling from 2018,so we have to put up with this crap for another 18 months. And from that time on the game gets the big bikkies.

You do know it only gets worst from here! 2017 sees monday gone but the introduction of friday 6pm that nobody can reallistically attend. When the nrl sets the schedule it will only be within the existing broadcast slots ao thursday night is hear to stay unless the nrl grows a set and negotiates it out of the next broadcast deal

I was in the ground for the 20s and was more or less last out of the ground. I was wearing cargo shorts with a hoodie under my jersey.
Last night was very close to the most pleasant conditions Sydney ever gets for night games from May-August. To put it simply mate, it wasn't cold.
Perhaps down to two is a bit harsh but if you read my posts you'd realise I was saying that game was better off at Kogarah than at homebush. How about a 6-4-2 split? With 2 being ANZAC day at ads + dogs/Souths/parra at homebush.

Also, stop being a passive aggressive toser. If you think I'm being a merkin, just say as much.

Let's just agree to disagree Dave.I want the Dragons to play at least 4 games at Kogarah their spiritual home, and you want only 2 games

I'm not going to call you names, I just dislike people like yourself that wait for a small crowd and then demand the team to play less games there.. Don't reply I'm over this now.

Let's just leave it at that..

Would have been awesome if they got a full sell out in Parra. Already have the DH sold out and the Panthers home game in Christchurch. Three sell outs would have been nice.

Do Manky and Melbourne go halves in the crowd on Saturday or will the 55k be included in their home crowd average?

Surely this double header doesn't count towards each clubs average home attendance, farcical if it does.

Everything is split in half. they won't announce crowd above 52500 regardless of how many are there.

Should be a * on their home ground attendance clearly neither club would get anywhere near 26 000 each at their real home grounds.

Makes a bit of a mockery of the stats.

Here we go again with this completely incorrect bullshit.

If I go to the double header I am going to two games. I count as one for the crowd of one game, and one for the crowd of the other game. Any other way to try and halve the crowd between both games is categorically wrong.

My understanding is it's not counted in home crowd averages at all because there's no realistic way to divide the gate.

You're also kidding yourself if you think there are people who only turn up and stay for one game.

For a team coming last, I think it's a great crowd. I just came back from the game and it was a good atmosphere. The applause at the 9th minute for Peats was great.
