Great crowd on the Gold Coast. Also shows what a little bit of media banter between clubs can accomplish. The Derby needs to be nourished.

Also, the Titans need a winning season or aleast be highly competitive 9th/10th to bring back the crowds. If the Titans keep up the hard effort and competitiveness surely the GC would recognize it in kind with increased crowds.

The Titans are in there rough patch like the Cowboys in 2010 and eventually it turn around for the better. Titans should come good eventually.

Yeah i was surpised by it as well but not as many as 15k. I would have said 12k as it looked 60% full being at the ground

Penriths biggest rival is Parramatta
Parramattas biggest rival is not Penrith. In fact you could nearly put every Sydney side with the exception of probably Cronulla ahead of the Panthers as bigger rivals for the eels.

The game at Penrith is always 50/50 or close to it meaning 7-9K Parramatta fans go.

I'd like to see (if they don't already) the NRL getting cosy with Ticketek and working out a way to monitor and track ticket sales for games and the respective home and away fans, as well as members. Get a clear picture of who has home support and who provides away support too.

Surely teams that can take larger tribes of fans across town to away games should get at least a gold star.
