Being the 'pinnacle' Origin should always be a sell out, the fact that throughout the years there being thousand of empty seats for Origin is embarrassing. No other pinnacle has empty seats like Origin.
Lets see we had had a sellout in Queensland last year, Over 80K in Sydney and 92k in Melbourne.
The year before we had a 52 and 50k in Brisbane, and a sell out in Sydney
2013 had 80K in Sydney, 52k in Brisbane followed by another Sydney sellout
2012 had a sellout at Docklands, exceeding seating by a couple of thousand, plus a sell out in Sydney and Brisbane respectively.
2011 two sell outs in Brisbane plus 82K in Sydney
2010 was a bit of a let down with QLD sweeping the Blues emphatically, Brisbane sold out but the two crowds 69k and 62k were disappointing but far from disastrous considering how much the Blues were being flogged.
2009 saw another big crowd at Docklands, 81k in Sydney and a Lang Park sell out.
