Again, in terms of atmosphere and TV "look", is 7k better at Brookie, Belmore, etc, or ANZ ?

Atmosphere would be better but the look for the game is just as terrible. Playing games in these run down grounds that look likemthen1970's is not the image we need for a 21st century top tier sport. It's a shame that over the last three decades the clubs have been unable to build decent boutique 20-25k stadiums at these grounds.

Tune into a game at anz and it looks like the game has no fans, tune into a game at brooky etc and it looks like a third division sport. Not sure how you remedy it but moving more games to these grounds that are terrible in the rain, have poor corporate hosting facilities and can barely hold 15k comfortably surely can't be the answer.

Anz got 12k tonight (allegedly) how many would have turned up at belmore to stand in the rain?

TBH the crowd looked tiny last night but some of the crowd noise that came through the TV like the booing when Corey Norman got called back and the Bronx cheer when Dogs took a long drop out sounded like their was a decent enough amount of people tucked away somewhere dry.

Can we please, please, please, please, please - put Thursday Night Football and the 6pm Friday game in the f**king shit can? They're BOTH rubbish time slots

When they announced they were switching Monday Night Football for Thursday Night Football I groaned.
Football on a school night is just stupid.

They came to the conclusion Thursday nights would be a success by playing a Roosters v Rabbits game on a Thursday. It was a one off - close to the end of the season and the result was to decide the minor Premiership.

OF COURSE PEOPLE TURNED UP FOR THAT ONE - f**king thank you Captain Obvious

So the NRL take that as "proof" the fans are right behind going to Thursday games and decided to swap Mondays for Thursdays. Dumb f**king wankers.

The 6pm Friday game is probably even MORE stupid unless it's for the NZ Warriors when it's peak time slot.

People are not home by 6pm on a Friday, or they're preparing dinner or whatever. They're NOT INTERESTED IN f**kING RUGBY LEAGUE AT 6PM YOU DIM BASTARDS.

Weekend afternoons, Friday NIGHTS, Saturday nights. That's when people will go to games and turn on their televisions to WATCH games. Sort your f**king shit out

Oh and please, please, please, please, please - stick season long scheduling up your arse
No one gives a f**k 5 months in advance if St George are playing on a Saturday at 5.30 so they can arrange their trip to the big smoke from the Country. Using that as an excuse to f**k up a whole season of scheduling makes me want to puke my f**king ring up

Bring back the shoulder charge too while you're at it. merkinS

With the lack of daytime or family friendly games, I can live with the 6pm game if it's taken around to regional areas and the odd game in Melbourne, Sydney (Rupert's mates would never allow Brisbane in this time slot). The Thursday night game is rubbish.

We need family friendly times as the way the timeslots are now it's really going to cause some issues when these 5-10 year olds are earning a wage and looking to send money on entertainment.

We need a minimum of 4/8 day games which could easily be done if we were able to expand and open up Brisbane, WA or NZ timeslots but some clubs are shit scared of growing the pie and dividing it up by 18 which would give 4 or 5 out of 9 games for daytime slots.

If we stopped bloody worrying about every game absolutely having to have it's own exclusive TV slot, like some spoilt brat demanding everyone pay it attention it would be a start

Guess what - not every Rugby League fan will spontaneously burst into flames if they can't see every game as it happens. We have multiple channels, and recording devices - if we want to see all the games we can. If you're that desperate to avoid the score you can do

Pandering to the whims and needs of the brattiest screamers is stupid f**king policy - always has been, always will be. When you're playing a NUMBERS GAME play to the largest percentages. Don't try and get everyone to change their habits to appease a minority. It's dumb .

Play two games on a Friday night at 7.30
Play them BOTH LIVE at the same time on different channels

What we have now is a time slot no one can get to see followed by the f**king Broncos every f**king week. f**k me, what an improvement that is. NO WONDER NO ONE IN SYDNEY IS WATCHING - none of us cares about the Broncos. That's why we enjoyed them being shoved on at 10pm along with 7,000 adverts for KFC.

The only people who care about the Broncos are Queenslanders. So let them watch it in Queensland. Give everyone else an alternative and MAKE IT THE BEST GAME OF THE ROUND - not the poxy Bulldogs, Rabbitohs or Tigers boring us all to death with their ineptitude you f**king schmucks

People who work odd days like to set up annual leave well in advance so they can attend.
Personally id like all rounds announced at the same time by the NRL where Fox/nine has no say and whatever matches we get, we get.

15k are we talking Souths Vs Dragons? I would be amazed if it was anything like that.
Did we even get that for the charity shield which was on a glorious Sunday afternoon and free to members of both teams?

Well 25k+ should always be the standard for this game but the circumstances with both teams playing really unattractive football and the dreaded 6pm Friday game makes it hard

If clearys pax is anything to go by then 15k+ looks likely (think that's how it works lol)

Apparently in Sydney heritage round means going back to pre 1908 when no one went to RL games in Australia (because it didn't exist).
