Question for cows fans what happened to the Cowboys attendance? Used to get 20k when they were absolute shithouse. I don't get it. Is it scheduling?
Certainly part of it. As we've become more successful and thus been scheduled for more Friday night games (Sunday afternoon games are generally unsuitable for us), it affects our regional fans' attendance which I think is a greater proportion than most clubs.

There's also the issue of the NRL bending over to Nein and taking it in the ass by putting the big games on Thursday nights but several clubs have copped that - Dragon/Sharks, Roosters/Bunnies etc. It all takes away from the crowds.

Be laughing if we get 22k, more like 12-14k. Souths aren’t going great and the Roosters are not the best crowd pullers

best possible day to play this game or most Sydney games
sat or sun
gives people ample time to get to the venue ( and they need it )
in their Present form & in fine weather the max they'd pull would only be around 25,000

Discounts for shithouse times
Thursday up to 50%
Friday 6pm 33%
Friday 7.50pm 25%

Fact: Thursday night football is a thing

Fact: It's not going anywhere

Fact: Sometimes marquee fixtures will end up being played in said timeslot.

No amount of moaning is going to change it.

Thursday night isn't a great timeslot but if people saw this as a real event they'd make the effort. Thursday night is no excuse for the sort of crowd we're going to get.

Yes. Given good weather. It’s a fair point. If other codes can draw well so can rugby league on Thursday night.Still no fan of it but it's doable.

Fact: the closest Cumberland Tosser has come to going to a Rugby League game is watching his Swannies play at the SCG whilst the Roosters were playing at the same time next door at the SFS
