Wow! They must have been counting heads instead of tickets.Just looked at the couriermail report on the game, 14.4k was their reported crowd figure.
That's not to bad considering their form.Just looked at the couriermail report on the game, 14.4k was their reported crowd figure.

We'll have to agree to differ. One of the worst (looking) crowds I can remember, at least in our recent golden run.Looked legit crowd figure for mine.

P.S. Apart from those games with obvious excuses - cyclones, Thursday nights against BS opposition etc. We'll have to agree to differ. One of the worst (looking) crowds I can remember, at least in our recent golden run.
Can't argue with that but I've been probably 50-60 times, my mate and I always play Guess the Crowd and usually get pretty close. Maybe I called it early and then didn't notice the improvement as I drowned in disappointment...I’ve been to the joint for about 130-140 games and the shots from about 20mins in looked a lot better than the ones at kickoff. 14.4k looked on the money mate. Which like you said, isn’t good.
In your pie in the sky world where everything runs seamlessly on your demand, sure.Varying factors? You mean some clubs playing in sht grounds with a small fanbase? Yeh those clubs are going to struggle to actually earn a revenue that justifies them being in the nrl. Better they keep taking the hand outs and play in front of 12k people!
Except we're a million years from all grounds with a roof. After spending most of the game standing in a stairway with my kids I've decided a proper roof is heavily underrated. Started pissing down at the start of both halves in Canberra.
So, 4k at the SFS?12,328 in a rainy Canberra with cyclonic winds just for good measure
fair dinkum it would have blown a dog off a chain

Canberra’s crowds have been much better the past year or so. Whereas in the past if they were 0-4 or it was a rainy night, they would have bottomed out around 8-9000, these days despite those challenges they have 12k attending. It’s a good sign. Especially compared to the brumbies who used to be the hottest ticket in town and who always sold out against the waratahs...nowadays they get 13k vs tahs or finals matches.
Show some respect they’re called the jackoffasaurs.the brumbies got 7500 to a final a couple of years ago
7500 to the game against the reds a few weeks ago
& might get under 7000 this week against the Jagoffs .. Jagalongs ... Jagaholics ???
or whateva they're called
