If you were to flick between the league and union last night rugby league looks on the up in nz. Obviously it will never overtake rugby there, I actually enjoy the union played there, but league can really cement itself as the second sport here.

Wouldn’t league be 2nd anyway even if it wasn’t for the warriors success? Unless you’re including rugby 7s

Kinda lame the tigers game isn’t played at Leichhardt or Campbelltown today. Might’ve pushed capacity

Our game vs Cowboys in a couple weeks would’ve been more suited to Tamworth

15k is great against the Raiders.

Last years sellout was against the Roosters who take games to Gosford on a regular basis.

Yeh and for Souths it is more members signed up and payment to play there so good business all round and hasn’t cost the game anything in crowd attendance.

Capacity is 20k, doesn’t look like 16k? 14-15k maybe which is fine. Given the popualrity of nrl more 20-25k decent stadiums should be the go, look ok even with just 14k In them.

Yep .Brookvale should be a 25000 capacity stadium. In fact if it can be done for most suburban grounds used in the NRL that would be handy!
