And give up on 15-20k paying customers? Why on earth would manly and Melbourne want to do that? They are doing this to make some money after all.

I think if the majority of Broncs members turned up, the stadium would be full. I have no doubt that some where there.

They just have to get creative Broncs, Storm, Manly profit share. At the moment they are missing 19k that did show up just a couple of years ago

Have a look at the history of mother's day crowds the last 10 years, it has produced aome shockers.

There is merit to not playing at all on the day.

You’d think Mother’s Day would be a perfect excuse to bring the family to footy after family lunch or something?

Don’t get the “it’s a terrible time slot” comment

Was there any type of promotion/offer/enticement to have a family day at the footy and treat mum? Probably not. We reap what we sow, we are just sht at marketing and getting people to games.

True, it’s probably moreso on the nrl rather than the fans this time round

Imagine how average it’d be a team from Perth?

God helps us that never ever happens.

It’s the clubs job to get fans to games. Nrl gives them $13mill a year, you’d think they’d have some spare $’s this year to be developing things like game day experience and reduced ticket prices!
