Not that bad with the bulk of games in Sydney.

Which supports my thought that there is too many teams playing out of Sydney.
Same boring argument every time.

Sydney rationalisation has already happened. While having half the teams in the comp in Sydney isn't the ideal scenario, it's not the reason crowds are poor etc. In the rare round where 6/8 games are played in Sydney (with the other two in 2hrs radius), it looks worrying depending on the clashes, but it's not the key issue.

True but High school football in the Dallas Fort Worth area gets better crowds than Sydney NRL clubs.
(and by the way the game day experience at high school football in Dallas leaves NRL for dead a good many of the fans go for the other stuff not the football).

High school football all over Texas is huge. Nor should we forget about college football where Texas A&M, Texas, and TCU have huge and successful football programs.

Also SMU, Baylor and Texas Tech. They would each get 50k crowds.
Oklahoma is about 90 minutes up the road from Dallas. 100k.

Imo the NRL either needs to lower the ticket prices or create more of a game day experience to represent better value.

When you buy a ticket to ANZ the cheapest adult ticket is about $20. On its own that’s an okay price. However it’s for the worst seats in the stadium (at ANZ behind the goals ages from the field). You could do this or pay far more for good seats where it suddenly isn’t very cheap anymore.

The issue is when u compare it to other forms of entertainment. An NRL game gives about an hour and a half of entertainment. Keeping in mind at most games there is nothing else to do. Especially for kids. No jumping castles, activities or being allowed on the field after the game. I’m comparison I can go to reading cinemas buy a ticket for $10 and get 2 hours entertainment. The big bash goes for over 3 hours and the tickets are far cheaper with more entertainment for kids.

The NRL needs to understand you have to make going to a game an attractive experience or people will simply stay home and watch on TV

Are you suggesting it’s bad all the games in Sydney because you think neutrals go to games in Sydney if their team is not playing or Sydney clubs are drawing poor numbers when playing out of town teams so having a large number of games is going to screw the Round when so many are in Sydney?

They've played 1 prelim final in 20 years & no GF's
compared to 5 Grand Finals & 2 premierships in the same period for your mob & your lot get about 25 more then us a game
& we should go ?

hahahahahaha
hilarious

Sydney
that's our problem … end of
Maybe they'd perform better and reach a GF if they had more loyal home supporters and sold out home games on a regular basis.
