Anz, cheap tickets and easter this time ni excuses for a poor crowd considering how pathetic the double header crowd show how weak 'heartland' is as double headers in Brisbane show what crowds double headers should get in heartland.

Heavy rain will mean sub 10k crowd in Townsville aleast that's s legit excuse compared to a clear sunny weekend with cheap tickets.
It is a fine day in Townsville with top expected to be 33 degrees..

Just got this email from Souths.

The Dragons have recently informed the Club that they are no longer willing to move forward with a reciprocal Member access agreement with us for 2018, due to capacity constraints at UOW Jubilee Oval.

We are disappointed with this outcome and as a Club we always look at ways to provide additional reciprocal game access for our Ticketed Members where possible.

Never fear, we will not let the Dragons keep our passionate and vocal Members from the game! To show our appreciation for our Members, the Club is committing to pay for access of any Full Season Ticketed Member who will be attending the match next Friday! How many other Clubs would do that for their Members?

However you will need to RSVP your attendance to ensure you can get in on the day!

Please contact the Membership Team on 02 8306 9922 or membership.rabbitohs.com.au to RSVP your attendance.

All Members must RSVP prior to 10am on Wednesday 4 April to ensure free access into the match.

Members who RSVP by this time will be able to use their 2018 Ticketed Membership card to scan in via Gate D at UOW Jubilee Oval to access General Admission seating.
Please note this is the gate closest to Princes Hwy.

I guess they must be expecting a lot of paying customers with their decent form.

The forecast for Townsville looks outstanding today.

Yeah it doesn’t look like the cell has headed in the direction it was first thought. Not sure if any of the roads near Cairns and Tully are still cut though from the weekend. If they are cut and punters have to head inland, it makes it a 9hour-ish one way trip which will turn a lot of people off. I’d say there will be 14k there tonight.

Reckon Roosters will go close to 18k. Plenty of closet Warriors will reveal themselves after 3 straight.

Why do you guys do this to yourselves?

Dragons haven’t had a crowd in Wollongong > 18,000 since 2011. We’ve had 10 crowds over 18k in the gong ever. It’s Easter Sunday. 14k will be par. 15-16k a great. It won’t hit 18k.

You'd think they could have just offered a ltd number on first come first served wouldn't you? Surely Dragons fans would have benefitted more from this than Souths fans?

Think it's time they pushed the capacity of the venue!? It definitely holds more and Saints are delivering. Let's hope so. I'd rather be positive than negative.
