2018 Crowd Watch

30K would be a pass mark for me. Nothing specatcular but based on recent years it's hard to complain.

This and Monday's game really should be consistent 40k due to the event status of them like the ANZAC Day match between Roosters and Dragons. 30k would be disappointing

You've got to promote these games like events if you want an event level crowd. The ANZAC day game is promoted heavily and the crowd is commensurate with that.

We should be treating these games like blockbusters and making them regular events (like what the A-league do wit derbies). That's how you get those sorts of crowds.

That's pretty good IMO. I know we'd all like to see 40-50K and I think we should aim to reach that in coming years but it's hard to complain.

Hoping the tigers fans really show up and top that crowd on Monday. Sucks that Parra went to shit or we could have been looking at another giant Monday crowd.

That is still not a great criwd but the NRL needs to understand that going to Homebush when the show is on isnt great - the crowd at the Show would have been a record so if you were going to the game only, it would be a lot easier to stay home

Good weather. A crowd below expectation in my books. Should be around 40000 for two popular clubs that have just won and in good weather with cheap tickets and food in the offing. I'm thinking the publicity/ marketing people are not doing their job well!

The last time top flight rugby league had decent marketing people was when Arko and Quayle almost doubled crowds over a decade. Shame that was 30 years ago now.

Thank the lord less than 40,000 people are walking out with bleeding eyes and whistle deafness

Nothing funny about dual sensory loss

What a shit game

If south's n the dogs were front runners instead of middle of the pack sides, we probably would get 40K plus

If we don't do something about how far the attack has fallen behind the defence crowds will get worse.

We need radical rule changes so that the coaches don't have a clue what is going on. They have too much control and they have used it to take the game down this path for about 10 years now.

There have only been 3 games this year, how can anyone really be front runners or middle of the pack?

Also that's a big part of the problem. We need to build these rivalries up so people are still interested in going even if the teams aren't 1v2.

Ahhhh
Both protagonists today are.. Mid table sides at best
And everyone knows it & we're talking

11v12
33000 for that isn't too bad

I just want to know how is it Cowboys v Bronco's is referred to as a derby ? Titans V Bronco's I get.

Maybe we can create another couple derbies , Knights v Bronco's or Raiders v Storm.

And had they been left to grow the game as it was going we would have the average 20,000 that we are aiming for.

Thinking their is a dodgy bean counter at Cronulla home games!? The ground holds 20000? Dark.or not dark both games looked near capacity!
There were a few spots where there was no one. But If thats under 14k. Im not sure how we fit in another 6k.
Unless its alot of corp going unattended.
