Why would they take MORE games to Campbelltown? The highest crowd there of the four games was 12.2k, average less than 10k. Only two matches have drawn 15k+ in the last five years and one of them was the Jarryd Hayne show last year.
If people aren't turning up there, surely the answer isn't to give them MORE games to not show up for (especially when you consider that WT have only ever played one match at ANZ that's attracted a sub-10k crowd).
The crowds have struggled due to the non-Sydney teams being shelved to Campbelltown and fairweather fans not bothering to show up.
You put Wests vs Manly on a Sunday afternoon you'll get 16k easily.
St George-Illawarra realised the flaw and have returned to their traditional base. Home games require atmosphere that is better generated at the local grounds as opposed to the empty vacuum at Homebush.
