So lowest "against" in that case.

Which is currently Roosters, but only just, so that could also be tied.

Then tries scored?
Would percentage not currently be this?

Storm: 536/363=1.477%
Roosters: 498/351=1.419%

then:
If roosters win 26-0 they will go to 1.493% and win
(498+26)/(351+0)=1.493%

If roosters win by 26 points but have 12 points scored against them then the percentage is tied, not sure what happens then?
(498+38)/(351+12)=1.477%

If roosters win by 26 points but have 14 scored against them storm will stay on top by percentage
(498+40)/(351+14)=1.474%

Yep. That's how I see it.

Highest percentage is the same as lowest "against" as a tiebreaker (so if differential is the same).

Obviously if Roosters don't win or don't catch Storm on differential it doesn't matter.

I don't know how they split it if they have the same differential and percentage (normally very unlikely but actually some chance this year).

I'm guessing on tries scored. Would that be Storm? They would have worse goals scored than Roosters you'd think, due to goal kicking ability, though they do get the most penalties so maybe they would have a lot more goals than Roosters.

It is all a bit speculative. Chances are good the minor premiership will just come down to differential.

1st to 4th will probably just be differential and 5th to 7th or 8th also just split on differential.

Pretty crazy really.

Rather than pointlessly speculate on an unlikely event I looked at NRL.com for the rules on an unlikely event....

Seems that after differential, it is percentage then tries scored as we guessed. Then goals, then field goals (not sure how you could have the same points for, and not resolve it on goals before getting to field goals).

Then it is a coin toss. What a strange way to determine our minor premiership!

Currently, Storm are second in tries behind Rabbitohs, on 93 tries. The stats were up to date from this weekend's games on points for, so I assume this is up to date for tries scored as well.

Roosters weren't in top 5 for tries scored, which seems odd given that their points for is so good, but if this is correct, it means if the percentage is the same, the Storm will be minor premier's (for Roosters to get same number of tries and same differential their percentage would be worse).

Roosters could be minor premiers or play away week 1 of the finals. Go Parra!

And what a traffic jam in the bottom half of the 8. Dragons and Broncos trying to avoid a trip overseas.

if the sharks lose and the broncos win and are able to make up 60 points then the Broncos can come 4th. Also if the Sharks lose by 29 then the Panthers can move into 4th. Probably won't happen though.

Panthers v Warriors, Friday
Easts v Sharks & Melbourne v Rabbitohs on Saturday
Dragons v Broncos, Sunday
The middle line is correct, probably, for teams but not for days.
The other two lines depend on tomorrow. Brisbane only need to win by 24 to get a home final. It could be against either the Warriors or Dragons but not the Panthers. The Broncos could play the Panthers in Sydney though. Any of the teams from 5-8 could play any of the others.
No idea how you can name days when they don't know who is playing yet.
The AFL is on next Saturday at the SCG. I will guarantee the NRL will not schedule a final at Moore Park to clash with that. The Melbourne game could be on Saturday as there's no AFL in Melbourne that day.
Also Suncorp is booked for the Rugby on Saturday so if the Broncos get a home final it will have to be Friday or Sunday, Friday seems more likely.
