A darn side more than Perth,I would suggest. And the people there would actually care. The media would give them airtime and print space, whereas a search party would be needed for the same in Perth.

Priority is Brisbane 2, written spoken and authorised by Clive Palmer .

I would hope so given one is an afl city and the other s RL heartland! Mind you Melbourne have overtaken a lot of Sydney clubs in membership so you never know.

Recently purchased a 6 game GA membership package at the Knightshop for $120. This includes a choice of any 6 home games to attend as well as a membership pack ( stickers etc). Pretty good value I think as the Knights don't have any Thursday night games with all home games on the weekend (about 6 home games on a Saturday) Only real disappointment was that Saints are scheduled for a Sunday 6pm timeslot. ( not user friendly at all) especially for those fans that travel long distances for a game.

You have no objections B2 becomes the Brisbane Buccaneers ,and Perth is their feeder club.

In fact, I hope the day comes the Storm have 50,000 members. They are nearly twice as big as Perth, and are much closer geographically to the raining NRL clubs.

Its raining NRL clubs? Can you send one this way please? I have no problem with the Sharks license being moved to a place they will be popular and attract 20k members from day one, like Brisbane lol

Perhaps another couple of clubs might come with the rain!? Brisbane Dolphins and West Coast Pirates would be great! If Perth are not ready then consolidate with the Central Coast Bears. Too much common sense and good business acumen involved for this to happen. Let alone the strategic proactiveness! No chance!

Please inform of why it's not good business and common sense. I can definitely provide you the positives. But will hold back till you inform of the negatives.

There are already 10 teams within 110km of the central coast, these sides average less than 20k, compete for fans and sponsors. Hey lets put another team, that there is no real push for, smack bang in the middle of an already congested market.

Even your negative points are flawed! The Central Coast Bears would not be located in the middle of ten clubs. Adding the Central Coast and northern Sydney a population of well over 1.6million is involved. Manly Warringah need a decent and relevant local derby opponent .And Newcastle would welcome a genuine local derby . To add to this the code would regain the lost and hibernating Bears fans that exist all around Australia and ofcourse northern Sydney. Furthermore one of the most influential and affluent business districts in Australia ( North Sydney CBD) would welcome and support the Bears. In addition to this a modern and easy to travel to stadium at Gosford with a Leagues club right next door would be a financial boon for the game and the Bears club. Not too mention a host of aspiring juniors coming on board again from North Sydney and the Central Coast! The membership potential with a 22000 seat stadium in place alone would be a winner as well! Absolutely a win win! However some can't or refuse to see this!?

They have before and will again. The Bears are still in living memory and the tv world is a constant reminder that they are about. One of the Bears main sponsors was Citibank before there ousting. I'm sure these big companies would jump at the chance to support a revitalized Central Coast Bears. This club has been wronged just like many others when a decision to reduce to 14 teams was agreed to in 1997.

Why do you continue to have a go at the Sharks membership numbers when they are in the middle of the membership rankings?? And their numbers have increased each year for the past 4 years.

If you ever want anyone to take you seriously you need to take your bias and hatred out of your arguments.

Expansion is only worth while if the area embraces an NRL Club. The Gold Coast has never embraced any sporting organisation let alone an NRL franchise. For a regional Club to have the membership figures that they have is disgraceful.

Why would these multinationals jump at the chance to sponsor the bears located in Gosford but not Souths which is about 9km or less? ( just an estimate from a map)

They’re not in the middle they Cronulla are the third worse in the Comp and on the back of winning a premiership.

Titans have a lot of work to do to do build their membership base, but they are getting more people through the gate than a number of clubs so it’s not all the disaster some on here like to paint.
