Our defence was fine last year, no different to previous seasons. The reason we conceded so many points (4th most in the NRL) was because the opposition had so much possession against us (most in the NRL).

It was our attack that was the problem.
Our attack certainly was “a” problem, but our defence was pretty ordinary as well IMO. The club obviously agreed as they hired a defensive assistant coach mid season.

Well the best clubs have the most coaches. It makes sense not to lump everything on the head coach.

Penrith has only received 5mm since 9am. Central Sydney has recevied 65mm.

There is a big band of rain just south-east of Penrith that might change things.

bit of a weather reversal from Rd1 last year between the two sides, hopefully a major scoreboard reversal as well...
