As far as ANZAC jerseys go I quite like the design of the Eels one - but they shouldn't exist at all. A poppy, an ANZAC Appeal emblem or something similar is enough - with match detail embroidery for teams playing on the day. That's it. Pays respects without being tacky or playing dress ups.

Agree, unfortunately whilst the clubs originally behaved (Melbourne & Warriors would wear their normal kits whilst Roosters wore more historical kits and Dragons just wore random kits) they have really become tacky and almost forced in recent years.

The NRL really should just make the rule something like "Club must wear either their home, away or a kit of historical significance to the day, and they can add an ANZAC badge and embroidery"

It’s just pointless that this jersey has been released but with Anzac Day being this Saturday I expect to see a lot of Anzac jerseys being released in the next couple of days. Just like when we saw lots of nines jerseys being released over a short period of time before the nines!
