I hope luai learned a lesson tonight because he really poked the bear there, all 3 tries after that the roosters players gave it to him and he was absolutely steam rolled by Crighton.
Exactly. A brainless idiot who has to check his temper at the door, or he will be on the way out. Burton is waiting...waiting for his chance.

never get dragons record, 27 games without lozz
Longest winning streak is 19 wins by Easts in 1975.

Longest undefeated streak (wins and draws) is 35 by Easts from 1935-38.

The Dragons longest undefeated streak, with both wins and draws is 23 from 1958-60.

Today Penrith matched two records: 16 wins Easts 1912-13, and Souths 1908-09.

We still have some dumb shit in our game. Edwards putting the player back into the in-goal area. Kiks with his lifting tackle, Naden you can say no more...except dumb as dogshit. To'o needs to learn not go be erratic when going for a high kick...attack and catch the bloody thing with both arms.

Bit of work to do before we face our next opponent.

Not to mention Kikau lifting above the horizontal in a tackle, costing us 4 points and his much needed potency in the next final.

Roosters gave Penrith a hell of a fright but tonight Penrith really showed the kind of mental fortitude they've got as a side, even though as others have pointed out they still have a couple of players who had brain snaps that may be costly in future. Getting that week off is a big boost for them provided they manage it well and don't get on the OAK's too much.

Easts are a quality side with the muscle memory to go all the way still, but I'm not sure about them making the GF again. Tonight was a taxing game that took a lot out of them, backing up again in a weeks' time against (probably) a Raiders side out for revenge is going to be a difficult task even on home turf.

5 tries all look bad but very few line breaks, We missed 26 tackles they missed 18 was just a few poor attempts made it look worse

Is that counting when Souths scabbed on the tigers... truly

I thought the goal line defence from both sides was ordinary.

Seemed when either team got a chance a try was inevitable.

Every time a team gave away a relieving penalty the other side scored. The first four tries at least were off the back of penalties.

In terms of fatigue it was pretty brutal out there, both teams teams looked exhausted by the 70th minute. There weren’t many stoppages and both teams completed well and spent large periods just hanging on before momentum swings. The roosters missing a few and after a few big years just seem to running out of gas while still being good enough to win it. Had they won and got the week off I would just about back them to go on with it but now I just can’t see them getting through the next two weeks.
