Every time a team gave away a relieving penalty the other side scored. The first four tries at least were off the back of penalties.

In terms of fatigue it was pretty brutal out there, both teams teams looked exhausted by the 70th minute. There weren’t many stoppages and both teams completed well and spent large periods just hanging on before momentum swings. The roosters missing a few and after a few big years just seem to running out of gas while still being good enough to win it. Had they won and got the week off I would just about back them to go on with it but now I just can’t see them getting through the next two weeks.

That's fair.

That game last night is where the Radley and Verrils injuries caught up to us IMO. Missing that youth in the middle.

It would be a monumental effort to make GF from here but I do think they will get through next week.

Of course if parra cause a boil over today things change drastically.

Not one to give the side who just beat his dual premiers in a final any credit whatsoever, is he?

You're talking about a bloke who spent the week after last year's grand final composing a letter to Graham Annesley whinging about whinging about his team benefiting from some referee decisions - instead of just conceding things went their way and more importantly, celebrating.

I’m already looking forward to raiders V roosters. Grand final replay in an elimination game should be awesome.

Um nope. Well documented all the calls went against us. Wightons try came off a wrong 6 again fall against teddy. Keary should’ve got a penalty for soliola taking his legs in a chargedown, and the incompetent Cummins was forced to overturn another wrong 6 again call against teddy. Incredible victory against all the odds. Worthy back to back champions which robbo and all of us celebrated. Ps don’t think it took Him a week to write what I just wrote.

That 2nd panthers try deserves more attention than it is getting. The decision was just plain wrong.

No doubt if we won and scored a try like that it would get massive attention.

It is not the reason we lost, there was an eternity of time after that and plenty of other things happened but the inconsistency on those is mind boggling.

I thought the goal line defence from both sides was ordinary.

Seemed when either team got a chance a try was inevitable.

High completion rate does that and it was hot a fast tempo. Also the standard of this season was poor neither side had a decent hitout before last night

Even in the stands it was hot. I can imagine how bad in the middle was

Agree with this 100%. Lussick might be a good young player but he appeared to struggle with pace of the game & his service seemed to really slow after about 20 minutes.

Oh... furthermore Roosters fans also spent 6 months following the GF pissing and moaning (like you have above) despite Raiders fans conceding our side wasn't good enough on the night, even though those decisions went against our side.
