Eels were physically dominant and good defensively but they also lucked out by taking on a side looking more like the Sunshine Coast Falcons than the Storm. I’d still expect a full strength Storm side to have their measure.

NRL really need to look into the Parra practice of milking crusher penatlies. One of the more blatant rorts they have going on.

I hate milking (even when we benefit from it) -but the better idea is to rub out the crusher for good (and that goes for every team).

The crusher tackle is dangerous, and it needs to be eliminated ASAP.

Well, there weren't any in tonight's game.

There sure were.

But that doesn't mean that some Eels players didn't try to milk some.

I am just saying - the NRL needs to stamp out this tackle as a matter of priority; if it goes wrong, someone will get seriously hurt.

Yeah they do but take the Cooper Johns one..I don't know how the defender can stop that

Put a red line through the Eels to win the competition this year.

A full strength Storm side would’ve put 40+ on them tonight.

Only scoring 2 tries against that Storm side is f**king embarrassing.

We have two players who back into the defence and seen to always be the 'victim' of crusher tackles. On one hand the defence doesn't need to come over the top to stop the post contact metres - it is dangerous. But on the other hand these two do tend to milk it, and it pisses me off when opposition players do it.

But really the onus is on the defence. If you want to stop the merkin driving forward (backwards?) make the effort and get another defender in on his legs. The crusher is potentially dangerous.

They are the second best defensive side in the comp. How many should the Roosters have scored against them last week?
