The $4m man - Rabbitohs set to hit the target with Arrow by tabling monster offer: https://www.foxsports.com.au/nrl/nr...r/news-story/ede4db16d3d6854ee2ddc556a54c4f43

Chain reaction - How Jai Arrow’s proposed Souths move could turn the NRL transfer market upside down: https://www.foxsports.com.au/nrl/nr...s/news-story/6d3a36a32376214f7329eeb109f8018d

That's right, I'm gonna say it once again haha - Absolutely fantastic news if true but I'll believe it when I see it.
When you think about the different guys we have been chasing Arrow brings talent without the risks that some of the others bring. Fifita and Mitchell have more X factor but they have got a bit of growing up to do before you decide to risk so much cap space on them

Happy to have Jai Arrow if we can get him.

That's true. But someone else would have to honour it, wouldn't they. I mean they can't can't toss it in the bin and pretend it was never there. Other payments have to be made like the manager etc.

Why wouldn’t they just toss it in the bin? Titans have a chunk of money, Arrow is getting more money than he planned for the year and the NRL are satisfied the cap wasn’t abused. Nobody loses, there’s no foul play.
there’s literally no reason his contract wouldn’t be terminated.

i have to agree, Mitchel I have zero interest in us signing, Fifita has too many question marks in my opinion.

If you have the chance to look at Arrow’s stats for 2018 his offloads, tackle breaks and post contact metres and tackles made are all very impressive (titans won 8 games in 2018). He still went well this year in a team that won only 3 games all year. Expect him to be great in a winning red and green team.

I understand what you are saying. What I'm saying is he is under contract for 2020 with the Titans. He can't just leave the club and sign with Souths. A contract is a legal document. The current contract will have to be honoured by either Titans or if they don't object, South Sydney. One way or the other, someone has to pay that contract money owing. If Souths aren't willing to pick it up and he doesn't want to stay at the Titans, he has to sit the year out. But I'm certain if they will let him go, Souths will pick it up.

that’s why it will be terminated by mutual consent. The contract will ripped up with the blessing of both parties. This happens all the time.

Agree, I'm looking forward to watching Gebbie, Souths are supposedly offering an alternative.
We went to Mudgee the last two times, but we are going up again this year so I can get a better look at Gebbie. I'd love to see him rip them apart with that sensational step he's got. It will give him confidence no end.
