To be honest, if he can play out the remainder of the season in reserve grade then that will be great. It's more important that he just plays footy than it is for him to get into first grade. The feeling is that he'll be gone at the end of the season but if he can stay on his feet, could be a very shrewd re-signing for next season - especially if Gagai leaves.
C'mon man, you gonna fall into that trap again?

His history and body of work, a significant body of work, suggest he'll be regularly or constantly broken down. Also I think people here forget how bad his D was, leading up to the last injury, that Bennett had to bench him.

We are under a salary cap crunch. We can not afford to be paying guys who collect NIB injury insurance. Move on, and find someone else.

If he is our answer to replacing a leaving Gagai, we are in deep s#!+

I think Nofo should concentrate on trying to get a few wins for his pathetic club as the Spoon is looking like a real possibility for the Mergepies.

From Fox Sports, I like the sound of this,

Latrell’s Origin training plan

South Sydney superstar Latrell Mitchell is tipped to come back and press for a place in the NSW State of Origin side without missing a beat.

The Bunnies conditioning staff has designed Mitchell a gruelling training regime during his four NRL match suspension to ensure the Rabbitohs fullback returns ready to go.

Mitchell deserves credit for the way he’s called out keyboard warrior imbeciles taking cheap shots via social media.

There’s no doubt none of them would have the minerals to make similar statements to Mitchell’s face. They’re weak and should get out of mum’s garage and pull their heads in.

Shit we are getting hit hard now!

Cody back to halves Hawkins into 14 jersey maybe.

Marsters and Burns to come in I’d say

AJ
Paulo
Marsters
Burns
Gagai

With that backline I’m very worried no Trell, Mansour or Campbell.

We are right up against it now. Reyno and Murray likely out this week too!

Campbell arm in a sling maybe fractured. Reyno likely to miss a week or 2 as well along with Murray. Reyno ligament issue in his hand.

Someone I know spoke to Shannon Donato today and he said it’s likely just 1 week out!

I don’t think he will miss too long!

They will strap it up and he will play. Reyno is as tough as they come.

Campbell out between 3-6 weeks and some reports Murray will miss 3 weeks.

I wish the club would come out with an injury report soon.

We will be tested though these next 4 weeks:

I’ll be happy if we won 2 of the next 4:

We have

Storm
Sharks
Panthers
Eels

We've been pretty good with injuries the last few years, we've pretty much kept our spine intact every game and we've rarely had multiple first grader missing through injury.

It's just our turn to go through it unfortunately.

With our tough draw over the next month i expected us to drop a game or 2 anyway, I wouldn't be too worried if we lost all our games in the next month, we we still be firmly in the 8. That's why im never annoyed by an ugly win early in the season. Banking those 7 out of 8 wins has given us a huge advantage sailing through this rough patch

Souths star Adam Reynolds sidelined with thumb injury: https://wwos.nine.com.au/nrl/adam-r...ohs-news/c4687713-0655-4700-8768-00fc88db276e

Absolutely terrible news for us, horrible!! Reyno, Cam and Graham potential all out for a fair while on top of already missing Latrell and Sauce. This, all entering an extremely tough run of matches. We could be in some real trouble here, real trouble.

Seriously, when was the last time we had good luck with injuries?? I can't recall. Injuries are the only thing that will stop us from contending this year and it could already be happening, it's tough to take.

I guess, we have to be positive. At least they're not long term injuries at this stage and I'd rather have this happen now rather than at the business end. A huge upcoming month just became gigantic!! Everyone needs to step up and this will show us what kind of over all squad we have.

Praying that the meetings with the specialist for both Cam and Reyno come back okay but I bet they won't. Sigh...
