Sounds so much better than sharks scraped a last minute home win in front of just 11.5k lol
They filled the ground and the LC and FC would have benefited afterwards.

The intangibles are important, like the Smug filling their decreased capacity in recent years.

Looked like about 13.5k in Tvl.
Disappointing to see the grand new stadium so empty but that's what we get for playing like busteds for five years.

With some genuine local talent coming through, a few more home wins could really lift crowd numbers.

it was an OHS issue, safety was paramount considering all the construction that was going on around the place…

Raiders have not been a big crowd drawing team up there bar 1995 (first year in the comp and Raiders full of stars). 13.5k is a pass mark all things considered IMO.

Fair call but we can do a lot better if we continue to improve. The defence last night was a huge improvement on recent years and JT13's performance was ominous.

hopefully 20K plus in newy today & I don't hold out much hope for a decent crowd at homebush
10K would be a pretty good result

Newcastle presales look awesome.
Im pretty sure they hold some back until the last few hours before kick off, or whenever gates open. Ticketmaster has always been weird with Newcastle.

Read on Twitter that General Admission has sold out. Depending on Members that turn up, could be around 24,000 I think.

The Western Grandstand always struggles to sell the tickets in the upper tier corners. So if they they are looking good today, maybe it'll go towards the upper 20s?
