Even though it looked higher 23K is still pretty awesome especially for a team who hasn’t really tasted success in such a long time (one year limping into the finals doesn’t erase all those years of failure).

Yeah it was pretty chockas today and it would have felt really tight with another 10K in there.

Totally agree, when they show the ariiel shots of the grandstands on the Eastern and Western sides it looks fantastic then you see the rabble behind the in goal areas and it looks almost prehistoric. Newcastle has 75% of a great venue, the other 25% needs fixing ASAP.

13, 453 is definitely a pass mark for the Bulldogs playing against an out of Sydney team in not a great time slot and at a ground which is poor for watching normal club games.
