Melbourne averaged 12,902 in 1999, so actually, they are all very 1999ish crowds1999 crowds apart from Melbourne

But everyone loves suburban grounds?Gonna be a massive crowd at Campbelltown
Stupid argument. The crowd would be the exact same or lower at Bankwest and you know it.But everyone loves suburban grounds?
Maybe two years limping into the finals does.Even though it looked higher 23K is still pretty awesome especially for a team who hasn’t really tasted success in such a long time (one year limping into the finals doesn’t erase all those years of failure).
Yeah it was pretty chockas today and it would have felt really tight with another 10K in there.
I understand the benefit of world clsss stadiums but I f**king love the hill at Newy.
Not everyone can have 7 Sunday arvo home games. Why can't we have at least 8 teams that pull a crowd like Newcastle in a stadium like Newcastle...can we ?
Sorry but that is nothing to be proud of.Sharks did at the game 11,497 i think it was. SOLD OUT as that is the capacity until the development (Stage one) is completed.
You're not saying that Penrith would achieve anything similar if they did have Sunday arvo games are you?Not everyone can have 7 Sunday arvo home games.

im assuming you're jokingGonna be a massive crowd at Campbelltown
65K seats under cover at Homebush , take an umbrella for walking in & out ,
When you get good crowds you get plum timeslots seems to be how it works. When did they last play a 6pm Friday home game that wasn't Covid affected anyway?Shit you got me there. No doubt if any of the other clubs in the comp had the immense success like the knights have had in the last 10 years they too could regularly get 20K+ crowds.
Lol yep the knights only get decent crowds on Sunday arvo games. To make it a bit fairer let’s compare knights crowds in the shit 6pm Friday time slot to everyone else to say how things look. I’ll wait.
Pre covid the Knights rarely got Sunday games. 2019 two Sundays, 2018 two Sundays 2017 four. Still avg'd more than any Sydney team those three years. When you get good crowds you get plum timeslots seems to be how it works. Thats mental.Melbourne averaged 12,902 in 1999, so actually, they are all very 1999ish crowds
Yeah mine would be similar but I reckon Canberra and Manly will be lowerR3 Predictions:
Cro v Sgi 15k
Wst v Nzl 5k
Sou v Syd 17k
Pen v New 10k
Mel v Par 15k
Can v Gld 14k
Bri v Nql 37k
Man v Cby 12k
but it would be nicer facilities, more corporate sales, look more professional on TV and opportunity to get more in with reciprocal agreements or special deal for kiwis. Nothing lost if its the same and still some gains! If it gets less than youd have to question why they are bothering given the crowd is expected to be sub 10k!Stupid argument. The crowd would be the exact same or lower at Bankwest and you know it.
You've gone optimistic for friday... tigers game will be a tough draw and the derby numbers will be down at olympic due to the weatherYeah mine would be similar but I reckon Canberra and Manly will be lower
