Australians cannot provide an amazing crowd atmosphere even in large numbers. In any code. Anyone who's been to a stadium in Europe or South America knows what a truly amazing atmosphere is.

Yeah Europe was pretty cool but South American atmospheres are intense, at one point I actually thought that death was a very real possibility.

TBH I’ve found the MCG atmosphere to be overrated. You’re pretty far from the other side of the crowd, and it doesn’t have the same noise containers that a place like Suncorp (or even Eden Park) have. The MCC members are also the most pompous, silent gronks found at Australian sporting venues.

I’ve been to two grand finals and two all Victorian prelims there too. And while the atmosphere was good, they ain’t got shit on the Broncos 2015 prelim at suncorp, any origin game three at suncorp or an all Sydney NRL GF at Homebush.

Ten minutes before kickoff and the crowd in the grandstand at Penrith looks pretty sparse. When will they hurry up and give this abysmal 6pm Friday game the chop?

The NRL is going down the European path of only a few clubs being able to win the premiership anyway. Maybe in the future we'll have 30k screaming Tigers fans throwing orange flares in games when we're fighting off the Spoon

I went Man U game ,it was great fun being there ,
Wigan Rugby League Game fun atmosphere.
When you get a big crowd and close game it's always going to be great atmosphere.

It's a shame that we don't have at least one team in the NRL that gets 70k sell outs to every game.

That team should be the Broncos but they're happy with 30k crowds.

I've been to at least a dozen different Premier League games over the years.
And 1 League cup game between Cambridge United and Nottingham Forest.
I've been to plenty of A-League Sydney sold out derbies at both Parra and Allianz, and besides the Nottingham game, the A-League derbies absolutely killed the Premier League games for atmosphere.

Pretty decent crowd with no AFL/AFLW game in the city plus there's decent support for the Roosters in the crowd compared to most away sides that the Storm play at home
