Anyway. Gallen never made me excited for Origin. His schtick was obvious and boring and he couldn’t back it up in the Origin arena.

I want to see some analysis of the relative strengths and weaknesses of the teams. Maybe some analysis of key matchups. I’ve barely heard a peep.

Build up is fine by me. I don't really need to see a scripted back and forth. It's not boxing, I know I'm from NSW and that I really want the blue tam to beat the maroon team. It's essentially conditioned into me at this point!

I'll be at work tonight. Usually we have 1 or 2 former players speak before the game and at half time. My favourite was seeing John Cartwright walking past after the game visibly upset. I wanted to give him shit but he's a giant!
