We should go carefully with so called ‘marque’ players. We don’t have the money for the Lattrels and Fulou’s of this competition. Think of the value we have received from Gal (unwanted at Parramatta) , Wade , Prior, even Ennis( part of the furniture at the dogs) . I see McInnnes as that kind of player as opposed to Tolman who I feel is a waste of money. Money we should be spending on training programs like yoga and hypnosis , yeah I know it’s fringe stuff . We had yoga and it was dropped , injuries went up. We have a big group of young players that need to focus on confidence , how to keep it going through the season.

I can see Aaron Woods leading the senior citizens Tai Chi group...

More a bowls kind of guy I recon.
Narhhh, well no bowls.... narhhh. Doesn't the the bowler have to chase after the bowl after he or she has released the object. I couldn't see Sharon running dawdling more than six consecutive ends.

Tolman is a culture signing. Like Prior. Tough, no bullshit, no excuses. Opposite of a Woods(who I still think has a place in this team)

No place for Woods. Not if he wants anything close to the money he’s on. Like 60%

We’ve got Uele, Rudolf, Hunt, Fifita for a few more years, Pele knocking on the door. Martin is meant to be good.

Plus game is getting faster and beyond him imo.

I’m hopefull there will be more rigor in how we select players we make offers too.
The McInnes signing could be a sign this is happening.
Criteria
Family background, looking at the younger playing group mainly. No more xzerri’s.
Age in play.
Injuries, this should be really carefully examined using professionals. Not she will be right mate!
Real game speed and reflexes.
Max two year contracts, even for coaches. That’s two seasons only, then review.
NRL code of conduct enforced.
No player swaps, we always are the looser here .

In summary: Tough merkins that have a genuine dig in defense. We had it in 2016, need that same attitude or show them the door. Woods has his hand on the doorknob.

The guy can play he is at wrong club.
They have chopped and changed him, the clubs culture is bad.
I feel he can be like Ben Barba if he comes to our club

You’re the first one to whinge about us signing overpaid, over rated, inconsistent and injury prone players yet you want us to sign Milford!?

Sit down and have a breather stake. Milford is shit

I'm a glutton for punishment. Really. Why did I come in here?

Milford is about as useful as a concrete parachute

Walters was basing the team around him, structure wise. wtf? . I'm happy to see the Broncos sniffing the arse end of the ladder again this year.

I'd never sign Milford but I agree that he's that kind of player who could find form at any time if he played in the right squad. It's unlikely, but I do get the Barba comparison...Barba was junk post-Dogs, junk with us when being force fit to 5/8, and then lo and behold when the team took shape.

Please do not sign him for us though, happy to see the Broncs flail around and try to make it work!
