hang on,So according to that telstra are paying $15mill a year for naming rights and some internet content.
where as AFL are getting $12mill for just internet content (and around $18.5mill a year for naming rights from Toyota).
hmmmm.
You’re avoiding the question of why our package is half the value, it’s not dodgeball here.hang on,
you're casting a raised eye brow over the NRL's new deal with telstra yet conveniently ignoring the AFL's new deal with telstra which has plummeted from 50 million a year
to 12 million
no wonder people laugh at you & your ridiculous bias
At least we’ll know for sure when their annual reports come out, unlike ours which remains well buried with no accountability for the deal done.& again
this " claim " by the AFL that their deal has risen from 418 million a year , to 473 Million for 2023 & 2024
with foxtel stating publicly they aren't tipping in much more & Telstra's amount reduced hugely leaves us with a puzzling question
how ?
how is the deal increasing by 55 million a year ?
who is putting in the extra amount to get it to that figure ?
hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm indeed
it isn't you half witYou’re avoiding the question of why our package is half the value, it’s not dodgeball here.
hahahahaAt least we’ll know for sure when their annual reports come out, unlike ours which remains well buried with no accountability for the deal done.
Nope, as usual you are incorrect. The telstra coverage is pretty much the same with highlights and replays for both codes. Kayo will have exclusive streaming rights to live games for both codes.it isn't you half wit
NRL naming rights & ... some vision .. online
15 million
AFL naming rights & ALL mobile content
30.5 Million ( was 68.5 Million )
the apples V apples content would be much closer
is there anything else you want to misquote , or mislead us abou
BaHa. “if“being the operative word, they used to, now they won’t. I wonder why? Afl has made it official from the CEOs mouth. apparently ours is “commercially confidential”, bs!hahahaha
If the NRL released those figures we wouldn't hear then end of the whining from you
but its the AFL so its ...
oh well

you cant justify afl getting $18.5mill for naming rights alone whilst nrl can only achieve $15mill for naming rights AND telstra mobile content. Reality is afl got $30.5mill a year and we only got $15mill. It’s a sht result for us.
Telstra to quit NRL, AFL streaming in sports strategy shift
Some Telstra customers will no longer get access to AFL and NRL games online for free.www.smh.com.au
as Ive said beforeBaHa. “if“being the operative word, they used to, now they won’t. I wonder why? Afl has made it official from the CEOs mouth. apparently ours is “commercially confidential”, bs!
The reality is NRL, Thanks to some smart buissiness decsions will declare a large profit this year. While the AFL will be in the red for the next 5 years and hopefully longer.
I can feel a But But But coming on.
Good result all things considered. Especially given the reduced media funding Vlandys agreed to. Expected reduced grass roots funding ($43.5mill reduction in ‘20 due to covid) and two origin series revenues would certainly have helped the bottom line.$50m is the word.
crazy after the added cost of moving the comp. Origin in smaller venues etc
So what’s your thoughts on afl getting double the revenue of nrl for telstra and naming rights? Come on don’t be shy. Add something to the conversation for a change. what do we need to do to be able to attract the same level of corproate revenue? BasEd on what we know it looks like Toyota paid $15.5 million a year more for afl naming rights compared to what Telstra is paying for nrl.

Theres a lot of little battles along the way , you can't win them all.
