Does anybody know how many tickets have been sold to the Women`s SOO on Thursday. I`m taking my daughter and I was hoping there`d be a good crowd.

Map shows half the bays are sold out and the rest you will struggle to get 4 seats together anywhere. Looks like 20000 but I’m guessing

Its ridiculous how some jurnos carry on and question about why we're taking the game to Adelaide because there's about 1,000 tickets left. I think there was about the same amount if not more in 2019 before the Sydney game.

I caught a bit of the Cheifs v. Brumbies on 9 Saturday night. Probably about 6000 there I reckon. That`s 1 v 3 on the table playing off for top four spots. That`s woeful.
Fumbleball`s got good crowds and average ratings, we`ve got great crowds and great ratings. Poor old super rugby, woeful crowds and woeful ratings.

Soccer and union are dead in this country as main players. They are both now ‘special events’ sports like swimming at the Olympics and tennis during the Australian Open. The NRL v AFL ‘war’ for number one sport is now less important without any other strong competitors. There is enough market share for both NRL and AFL. We will have this duopoly for 100+ years. AFL won’t break into any further into NRL territory and RL won’t break further into AFL territory. There are enough Victorians in Sydney and SEQ for the AFL to have their decent sized niche, and there are enough people in Melbourne from RL territory to sustain the Storm. But that is where it ends.

The ‘war’ is over. Soccer and Union didn’t even realise they were at war, but somehow they both lost and somehow AFL and NRL both won.

Restricted View seats are now on sale for Adelaide, which is always encouraging. Definitely getting high 40K vibes now based upon how many tickets have been moving and what they are releasing.

For CommBank on Thursday, in Category 1 Lower Bowl is pretty much sold out now (Bays 112 - 118). Middle 3 Bays, 214 - 216 in the upper stand are also pretty packed.

Hard to get a true read for Category 2 & 3 sales as Ticketek/NRL has disabled the ability to pick your own seat in recent days. I'm going to say it's on track for 15K, but hopefully I'm under estimating.

The Stadium did send out a 2-for-1 deal for the match last Friday, and did take all the corner bays off sale a few weeks back, which to me indicates that its not yet tracking for 20K+.

That said there is no bigger advertisement for Origin, than Origin, and with the Men's match to be filled with promos for the Women's game, a late surge is well within the realms of possibility.

I checked the site for the women’s game and have to say it was hard to track sales beyond a wild guess of maybe 20000. I was probably optimistic.
