Scheduling Broncos v Dolphins (sold out - maybe 35k @ Gabba)during the WWC also knocks 15k off the total. Bizzare scheduling.
We have a Friday night game against the Eels there which is a shame too.

Their current form and our ladder position would probably draw 40k.

It'll be sold out soon enough.

Apparently lots of Swifties completely forget her concert performances after going due to the psychological release.

I wish that would happen to my brain after a Manly game.

Would crowds at alliance be better for souths than Accor?

isn’t alliance close to their spiritual home?
There is a generation gap with our supporters, which is understandable given 40+ years of failure before our recent success.

Anecdotal, but I see plenty of 35+ year old adults, and heaps of school aged kids at our matches.

I don't see a lot of 20-somethings with their mates at our matches. That would likely improve with a move to Allianz where there are actually things to do either side of the game.

Fri Warriors V Souths 25K sellout
Probably closer to 24k, I don't think the current config can hold 25. Good news though is because of All Blacks tests being moved there because of the Womens soccer world cup there will be 6K extra seating installed for the following two home games, pushing capacity up around 30K.

Going by the crowd expected and the logical way you'd sell tickets, you'd have to think the areas in black are already sold. I'll be more convinced if/when level 5 opens up.

On the note of Perth and the NRL, both WA AFL teams are playing like absolute sh*t at the moment, would be a pretty great time to announce a Perth NRL team, sometime around the double header...

Level 5 now on sale. Gonna be an impressive crowd by the looks.

Australians aren't soap dodgers
we don't reward mediocrity , we have a plethora of other things to do that poms don't in the sad grey miserable little towns they live in

well , actually ..on reflection
fumbles & feebles fans defy that , so the statement should be
NRL fans don't reward mediocrity...
Openly admitting that you're a fair weather supporter is pretty strange.

I’ve seen the extra seating for the Raiders & Sharks games mentioned a few times, but..

Why don’t they just keep the extra seating for the rest of the year? Warriors have another 2 home games after that plus a decent chance of hosting at least 1 finals game. Surely it’d make sense to keep them there until the season is done?

I think if the Storm/Riff game was at AAMI PARK then I think it would have been a great crowd and atmosphere instead playing it at Marvel Stadium you are further away from the action..

Openly admitting you're not like most Australians & NRL fans is as well.
I go to every Parramatta home game including our spoon years unless I’m out of town or wedding. Also go to a few away games in Sydney every year. I would estimate we have around 13-14k fans that turn up wether we are winning or losing, it would be great to turn that into 20k .

I attend plenty of games too , not all .. but plenty & im not influenced by form etc either , Im on the fringe of that core supporter group that most clubs have.
But clowns on here think every game should be a sellout every week & form , & weather & other legit factors shouldn't play a part.
I always say speak for yourself ...

Frankly I think it's an insult to Australian culture to suggest that we're all glory hounds, and that relatively strong support for teams that have had little to no success like e.g. Cronulla and St Kilda proves that it's wrong on face value.

Poseurs like you should feel free to enjoy your couches, but please don't assume to taint us all with the likes of you.

Yea,
absolutely keep it up for the other 2 home games post the WCC ...

If the Wahs make the top 4 ( certainly possible ) & host a prelim by winning in week 1 , i hope
its played at Eden Park in front of over 45K fans

would be huge
