24 000 sell-out for Tigers/Warriors in N.Z. this weekend.

The Warriors are killing it, bravo to them, they deserve it.
They've been playing excellent footy this year,I'm really hoping they can reach the GF this year, and hopefully winning it for once.

That's brilliant. They are smashing the Auckland Blues at the moment.

Warriors killing it and a good boost for Tiger’s crowd average. Hopefully some Sydney teams look at home games Vs the Warriors over there again next year, plenty of options.

Can we take a minute to appreciate that this is the Tiger’s 7th home ground this season. They’ve played no more than 3 at any one venue.

3 Leichhardt, 3 Campbelltown, 2 Commbank, 1 Suncorp, 1 Tamworth, 1 Hamilton, 1 Accor.

That would be a record surely?

No surprise that the Tigers are last on the ladder.

9. AFL: 14,242 - Suns v Hawthorn
10. AFL: 14,097 - Suns v Lions

In the spirit of Suns getting beaten in crowds, found something interesting the other day that surprised me a little. I stole your format btw.

Top Crowds in Darwin this decade 2020-2023 (NRL & AFL):
1. NRL: 12,056 - Eels v Broncos (2021)
2. NRL: 11,864 - Eels v Broncos (2023)

3. AFL: 10,772 - Suns v Crows (2023)
4. NRL: 10,017 - Eels v Cowboys (2022)
5. AFL: 9,316 - Suns v Bulldogs (2023)
6. AFL: 7,516 - Suns v Hawks (2022)
7. AFL: 5,523 - Suns v Kangaroos (2022)
8. AFL: 5,401 - Bombers v Tigers (2020)
9. AFL: 5,172 - Suns v Blues (2020)

Eels/NRL have outdrawn Suns/AFL home games at TIO in 2022 & 2023, 3 of the top 4 from 3 attempts. Plus they have the biggest crowd this decade and since 2017 (which was 13,473 for the RLWC. Some food for thought.

A bit of soccer boosterism in the Herald. The online headline is ”The Women’s World Cup is outdrawing the Men’s NRL”.
I have a different take - despite a once in a lifetime event for soccer, the NRL will still have an all-time record crowd aggregate 4 weeks before the end of the season.
Thats like saying next Rugby Union Lions tour and World Cup in Australia will outdraw the NRL but doesn't make more popular code.
I hate the whole English Soccer hype but a close 2nd is the man child love of the game in Australia and it's female Football as well.
Go Wrexham.
