Thurs Storm V Roosters 16K ( deserves a full house ) luckily its a holdiday on the Friday otherwise it would have got 11K
Fri Bulldogs V Souths , reciprocal rights for souths members , 100K next door at the show & good weather tipped , could get 40K
Fri Cowboys V Dolphins , I saw somewhere a few weeks ago there was only a few hundred tickets left for this one 24K
Sat Penrith V Manly , 21K sold out.
Sat Brisbane V Canberra hopefully should get over 30K
Sun Titans V Dragons might get a very good crowd Im thinking 20K
Sun Newc V Warriors , both teams performing atm .. 20K
Mon Tigers V Parramatta ... one win out of 10 games for these 2 could cruel a good crowd , just nothing doing for the Tigers & while Parra are playing well I fear it wont do much attendance wise . 25K

All games at a venue should be the same for the season. The NRL should not allow clubs to profiteer like this. It Is wrong to charge different prices depending on the opponent. If it is $100 then that is the price for a game against the Roosters, Tigers, Penrith or any body else, not upping to exorbitant prices to suit themselves.
Just buy a membership, problem solved. Then all games are the same price... and a pretty reasonable price at that

Last year we had one Brisbane team averaging 29k, this year so far we have two averaging 31k

I don’t agree with PR about Dolphins taking any significant amount of fans from the Broncos but let’s wait a while before we make grandiose statements about the Dolphins average. It ain’t going to be 31k at the end of the year.

I doubt it will be. But the Broncos are certainly not dropping below 29k with their current form. So if we end the year with Broncos 32 - 35k and Dolphins 25k that's an awesome result for the game.

Yeh it’ll definitely help the crowds for the year, having 2 more 50k derbies was always going to help. It’ll be interesting to see how they draw this year against teams other than the Broncos at Suncorp.

I think we might hit 32k average. 35k would be achieved if we had all games at Suncorp. 3 at the Gabba will drag it down a bit I reckon.

If we are top 4, the last game against Melbourne could be 40k+. Our games v Penrith and Roosters being on a Thursday is a shame because 35k possibilities become 20-27k (Roosters is at the Gabba). If we have a great season this year our marketing team should have a huge budget to flog memberships, and they would be smart to do so given the Dolphins are arguably more marketable to youngsters that haven't picked a team yet.

Nsw premier and Blake solly have been good friends for 25 years so the talk is south’s back home sooner rather than later
It’ll certainly help but as it stands there’s a contract, so they either find another tenant or pay compensation. Packer, Cannon-Brooks and Rusty have deep pockets, so maybe that’s an option. If Dogs try to get out of theirs too, then there’s a good case to get the reno/rebuild back on the agenda provided they can get a couple of teams to commit.
