Fair enough, I personally look at it and don't see a lot of hope for 18,000 (also due in fact that I don't trust a lot of members to show up). But, most definitely am gonna be wrong and will be looking forward to a bumper easter crowd today at the game.

Thanks mate, I want to get into crowd predicting but not seeming very welcomed right now aha, but it's all goods. hopefully I can learn the ins and outs of it all from people here. And you are right, the corporate sideline rarely fills itself out from members. But there's also the new premium hospitality to consider as well.

If you seriously want to to predict crowds there is no better person to learn from than SLR. I go on club averages, time slot, weather and opponent. It’s an imprecise science.

You can add the current form of the teams involved. Tigers v Eels is 17th v 16th. If they can attract 20k plus, that would be a great crowd.

It may be a better atmosphere, but you also limit the crowd. The best time to take a game at Accor ( Stadium Australia) is when the Royal Easter Show is on. But unfortunately it's 16th v 17th.

Would bleat on all day about the AFL eradicating famine, delivering world peace, paying for nuclear submarines and curing baldness. I went to the round one Storm game against us on a Thursday night - announced I was going late on the day and they were like "oh, that game is starting?".

Melbourne won (per usual) and the next morning they were all NRL experts and individually proclaimed that they were Melbourne's number 1 fan.

I dragged them to the finals game against Canberra and carried on like the biggest merkin in history after Canberra won. It was so delicious.
