Haha, all blacks are the all blacks, they'll be a sporting heritage in nz for another 100 years yet.

I like what you say and by the looks of it, RL can chip away, but SOO needs to ef off, the future is in International footy like Union, Soccer, baseball, basketball, cricket and so on. We (Rugby League) need to grow up in every single domain.
Talking about internationals,is their a Australia vs NZ test match this year? The only test match i see is the England and France one...

Maybe, if you know beforehand, you're lucky.
This sport called, raga believe is nothing it portrays itself to be.

I've been crying for 30 years (sl wars) and the arseholes running the game still have no freaking idea. Everything IS CORRUPT!

I was invited tonight to attend the swans game,I simply told my friend I wasn't interested and that I was going to Penrith instead.. it was his first afl game also he was going to. He just sent me a text saying I cant believe im here mate, this game is absolutely shit,we're heading home now..🤣

That's what withdrawing consent looks like.

City of over half a million people, that's a very f**king ordinary crowd figure.

Looks like there's more dragons fans there as well.

Yet people like to bag out Sydney Crowds.

GC are by far the worst club overall in the comp

We are going to have this going through expansion. The Titans has never won anything to solidify thier fan base , the novelty has worn off having a team and they've been ordinary for a decade.
It's going to be 12k 🤷‍♂️
We've got to be prepared to cop that through expansion years.
Dolphins will probably go through it too until they find success.

The NRL should take a record of this years attendance for all clubs and offer $20 per head passed that for the following year, repeat that process indefinitely.
Clubs need to be insensitivised to grow crowds , only way that happens is with $
Otherwise they are forced to weigh up marketing costs and ticketing revenue to the point now where crowds stagnate.
We need to tip the balance in favour of numbers through the gate and create a going to the game culture.

Dolphins came from an existing club. That should help

Gold Coast population is now over 640000. To be fair, it’s not your typical population base in QLD and it’s got plenty of other distractions.

Don't get me wrong sitting in that stand that was facing the sun would of been brutal yesterday, Start of the year is suppose to be the best crowd wise.

Weather is nice, No one is out of the finals race yet. People are over a boring off season so 12k is still under expectations.

That said they have Broncos next week, Home game at Magic Round will push crowd average up

Isn't the Gold Coast a concern in any sport.
are they though? the poor GC crowds are always overstated, they are probably still ahead of a few Sydney clubs but for some reason its ok for a Sydney club to only get 11 or 12 k but when it the Titans its a "concern"

Sydney clubs have generational support that have experienced success. There's not many people who followed the Titans their whole life and if they did they haven't tasted success. The Gold Coast is also very spread out, so for some a bit of a treck to get to the game and given their last 10 years it isn't any wonder people didn't bother.
They're a young club. If the Roosters had been shit as long as the Titans- the crowd would be much worse!

Last year 6 Sydney clubs had crowd averages below Gold Coast. Sydney’s population divided by 9 teams is still roughly the same as the population of the Gold Coast.
In our defence the Sharks are playing at a reduced capacity and have been for a couple of seasons.
