Yea, they're not honouring the Junior players passes etc which doesn't happen often but means the crowd based on sales is expected to be above 20,000.
Something is weird with the raiders game. I'm heading there on Sunday but haven't got tickets yet. Ticketek is busted and says you need a password haha

Looks like the chooks got that price exactly right.

The sooner this fixture is played at SFS twice a year every year the better.

Get dragons and tigers involved and you will have 12 games of 20k plus at that stadium between those teams.
It’s a great ground. Went there for the sharks rabbits final last year. It’s a top venue.

This is how quickly tickets are shifting for Dolphins v Broncos. All the sections with a yellow line have sold this evening. Just restricted view to be listed soon. I wonder how corporates are going - I actually think we are a chance of beating the regular season record at Suncorp (50,612 - Broncos v Cowboys 2008).

I doubt we'll reach the Broncos record attendance including finals which is 51,826 from the 2015 Broncos v Roosters prelim.

Surely corporates will show up en-mass. I know Saturday night isn't the best for corporates but if the Bronco's win tomorrow every single piece of media in Brisbane will be talking about this game every day until Friday.

I wouldn't be surprised if (other than State of Origin) this game will be the biggest sporting event at Suncorp this year. It'll be the hottest ticket in town.

Dolphins v Broncos is on Friday night luckily so corporates and stadium members really should show up for this! 7pm kickoff is the only shitty thing. I hope we win tomorrow night so we both go in undefeated, will be enormous.

Agree, this is the biggest ticket in town behind origin. Such a shame that the Broncos home game v them is at the Gabba.

Yeah whoops, I was thinking of the Dragons game. In that case, pretty sure corporates will sell out.

The only other factor is stadium members but you'd think with no Wallabies games in Brisbane this year, surely this is one of the games you turn up for.

Theyre not the bigger than a whole sport, but they are the club with biggest active fanbase of any Sydney club, by a long long way. Bit embarrassing really.
Why is the NRL suddenly alive and well? It seems to be booming but I can't think of a reason why? I visit workplaces and all they talk about is the NRL. Maybe it's Panthers having a huge catchment area or good administration. BTW I'm not bias and actually prefer AFL which is really struggling atm. 5 years ago it was the other way round

I hope so. But the stadium members are pathetic and their attendance has declined dramatically over the years. I don’t have any statistics but some games it feels like 20-40% are in attendance. I remember the members areas looking great in 2010,11 and 12. Back in those days you couldn’t transfer the passes, where as now you can actually send a ticket to a mate to go if you can’t or don’t want to go.

Unfortunately I think most of them are fossils and can’t be bothered or don’t understand that you can do that.

A Friday night TV doubleheader is just made for Channel 10. 6:25 first kickoff. 8:15 second kickoff. Pushing back that early start time will increase crowds and viewers will watch back to back games.

Why specifically would that suit channel 10 as opposed to any other channel?

Roosters reporting crowd was 36,669.

The Sydney Roosters have sent the South Sydney Rabbitohs back to Homebush with an enthralling 20-18 win in front of 36,669 fans at Allianz Stadium on Friday evening.

That's 86% of capacity, the third largest rugby league crowd at Allianz Stadium 2.0 and the fourth largest sporting crowd overall.

I went to the game. Sat in the top tier in the eastern grandstand. It was my third NRL game at Allianz Stadium 2.0 (2 x Roosters/Rabbitohs and 1 x Sharks/Rabbitohs). It is SO MUCH BETTER than the old stadium. The roof retains the noise within the grandstands, which is really something when a try is imminent.

Something of a punch-up in the back rows though, around the same time as the sin-bins. Didn't look good and ment plenty of people in the rafters left before full time.

The light rail makes it pretty easy to get home (light rail and bus for me, home in about 30 min). Not as good as a metro line, that would be the dream for Moore Park in the long term future.

Imagine this every Friday 8pm in Sydney, do it for 3 years straight and will transform RL in the inner city

Gotta move Souths back to Allianz
Work out a way to get st George and tigers to host 2 massive Friday nights
See the NRL take off even more then!

Even Roosters fans are wanting us to move there! Uncle Nick needs to put rivalry aside for the good of the game. Plus it did cost $828m

Was there too, it was an amazing atmosphere
