The Game 2023 Crowd Watch

Nightmare scenario as a Souths fan to be heading into the last round of the year with finals chances increasingly dependent on beating the improving Roosters. Marketing dream though (in lieu of finals clashes), so am increasingly interested to see what sort of crowd it draws.

Next week we can expect over 150000. Games on a high

Only really Tigers, Dragons & Sharks holding it back at the moment. Sharks have a low capacity but at least they’re selling it out and playing well. Dragons & Tigers are a complete rabble and that would be keeping people away.

Need Knights and Raiders to make 5th and 6th to really pump those finals crowds up.
Coincidentally Knights & Raiders are the Sharks’ last 2 opponents, Sharks probably need to lose both to miss the top 6.

Knights fans have already gone on a buying rampage for next week and have quickly sold the lower bowl down to single seats. Surely it will sellout by mid week.

Surely we end up with 3 sellouts next week (Penrith, Knights, and Warriors), + a 35k+ at Suncorp, and the Raiders might even come close to another sellout.

Epic.

Gotta love Rugba Leeg !!!! Warriors have no tickets left according to Ticketmaster. Knights are down to a lot of single seats in the lower sections of both grandstands with GA supposedly sold out. Penrith pushing towards 20k.

You know suncorp better than the rest of us here mate, do you reckon itll be 35k? I'm unsure how suncorp's ticketing works but to me it looks like it is selling well.

There’s the slightest chance we might get all games next week at 20k+.

Panthers, Warriors, Dolphins, and Knights are certainties.

Raiders & Roosters are a good chance. Roosters first home game back at SFS, winning form, playing for a top 8 slot, and against a Sydney team. Crokers & Whighton’s last regular season home game.

Storm & Bulldogs games are the only queriers.
Both last home games of the season, so you never know.

Should be a cracking weekend.
