Man I hate how stubborn some companies are about their logo. Harvey Norman ruins every single Jersey/Guernsey that their logo is on
Eels somehow got it approved not to use the red box again...

It would have been less of a problem if the gap was filled in. The fact NRL teams persist with a gap in their numbers is embarrassing.

Take St George's away jersey. The NRL team have the blank gap on their numbers and it looks shit. The lower grade teams all have a white fill where the gap is and it looks hundreds of times better.

According to this article, Cronulla were meant to wear their members jersey today, but are instead wearing their home.

Any ideas why? Or when they'll wear their members jersey?

Wasn't the NRL going to do some trial where jerseys were only about the $100 mark?
Cheaper jerseys = higher sales = bigger day to day exposure ... that kinda thing?

Did they actually do it or just talk about maybe doing it?

I think that’s supposed to be for Kangaroos jerseys, isn’t it?

What a waste of a jersey lol. Lazy and absolutely pointless.

The whole Women in League stuff needs to die. It was a malformed and tokenistic idea to begin with, but it's totally pointless now that the NRLW exists. It should have been a round to recognise all people whom volunteer to help out local RL, especially in the grassroots, and their should have been tangible benefits offered to said volunteers during the round.

I wouldn't say the existence of the NRLW means that the Women in League round is obsolete. Hell, just go through social media during the NRLW games and it's clear that there are still significant issues with misogyny. I definitely think the round needs a more focused approach - just like the indigenous round does.

That being said, I don't hate Canberra's approach with wearing the NRLW kit (because I think the whole 'pink for women' thing is stupid) - but considering the key contrasting difference is the shorts, it really isn't that big of a statement.
