Now we might not ever get a men’s World Cup but this could conceivably be a trial run. If we don’t have much of an atmosphere for this it doesn’t help any argument for getting our hands on that which would be absolutely massive for the country (even most likely as a joint bid)
Boast to economy & tourism promotion would be great. Every stadium would sellout (women's event has moved a ton of tickets). TV ratings here last thing FIFA or state governments etc. think about
