I’m still angry at the warriors for last night that was a vintage warriors performance

even still they could’ve had a kick from the sideline to win the game with time up

Yeah I`ve got a soft spot for the Warriors because I know if they did well they`d bring the whare down over there and two teams would be a shoe in. They should have been as successful as the Broncos by now, 4 premierships and 6 GF`s.
Sometimes I can`t even watch their games it`s just too painful for me, as you say, last night `vintage Warriors`. I turned off the last 10 minutes, but it didn`t surprise me they pulled up a couple of points short.

Yes they’ve hurt me too many times lol

imagine the warriors had the sucess of the storm how big they would now

warriors have been an average club since inception and are still one of the biggest rugby clubs in nz

if they won the nrl it would be at least as big as winning a union World Cup and a much greater achievement given the standard of opposition

or even better fox are allowed to stream it with nine

since nine pay less for the nrl than afl gets from seven they don’t need exclusivity

No one watches FTA, SOO will have over half of the total number. Good result

This coincides with the death of FTA tv as much as anything , as a share % viwership during the game it is easily numb one still & was the first , 2nd & 4th most watched TV shows of 2022

We could be one of those codes. This is better than that.

Wednesday night is the right night. It’s part of a strong tradition and it works. The ratings are always exceptional and it monopolises discussion all week. Put it on Saturday or Sunday and it disappears into the weekend when we all have things to do. Wednesday is hump day and it’s nice to have something to look forward to on such a major scale.

Some people believe what they want to believe. They watch a poor game in an earlier round and just think it's a poor game. They watch a poor game in the Origin period and call it Origin-affected.

Such people might be a wee bit older than the average NRL fan. Maybe a bit jaded and clinging on to pet narratives.

Good reason to think this week's ratings indicate that younger generations are not buying the Origin-affected rhetoric.
