Wait so you are happy with excluding a major region where afl has no team and leagues does really well but still include two afl areas with no nrl teams ?

let’s just compare 16 vs 16 and see who wins
You can’t add in an area that doesn’t produce data.

Hey dingbat, Sky announced 700k watched the Wahs and million watched the ABs, dont you think that's enough evidence? Or are we calling Sky liars?
Sure he could add that one game in with an asterisk as we don’t know if that figure is a peak or an aVg, there’s sometimes big differences between the two.

As for the rest of the season there is no information available on what nrl games in nz drew.

I’ve got a solution to the lack of NZ ratings. Each week wb1234 and Harry and 4 others here can submit a guess as to the ratings for each games ratings in NZ. We can then apply an average, provide those figures to the Wookie and he can add them as an adjunct to his weekly reports. They could be included under the headline ‘the weekly League Unlimited NZ wankers ratings report’.

I'm shocked, that you can write all this drivel after having 4 cartons of beer.

Wow

what a day to be a rugby league fan

and in two weeks we have the pacific cup which just keeps adding to our ratings dominance

with the pre season comp and the pacific cup the rugby league offseason is down to 12 weeks

no wonder why stan is so keen to get all the game exclusively

Just for people’s information here. I have not ever worked in a paid position for any code other than rugby league where I got $20s a game as a touchy. I have been involved in rugby union and league here remembering league has only been played for 10 years here over the past 70 years and has not existed since 2014. WB1234 is a liar.

I’m not surprised you wrote that given you are a misogynist who supports a condemned rapist.
Yes I've heard this a million times now, you're becoming real boring. Next time come up with something new, coz you're sounding like a parrot who repeats the same shit. And yes I love Jarryd Hayne ❤️

The good thing about grand finals is that you get a great sample size. I think the NRL would be a little bit underwhelmed with the Brisbane numbers given the Broncos form to date. However, here's some positive points for NRL:

1. The Melbourne NRL FTA rating was higher than the Sydney AFL FTA rating. Considering both cities were neutrals in both grand finals that's a fair comparison.

2. Adelaide NRL had 33% of the AFL rating and Perth NRL had 42% of the AFL rating. Again - considering neither has a team that's a good base for future expansion. There's clearly a latent interest there.

3. The NRL's youth FTA demos (16-39s) are typically much better than the AFL's.
Sydney (26.1% to 19.8%)
Melbourne (28.9% to 24%)
Brisbane (20.6% to 18.4%)
Adelaide (18.2% to 19.6%)
Perth (23.5% to 17%)

Keep in mind that youth demos now also favour other formats than FTA - BVOD or subscription etc. I'd actually argue that the NRL youth demos are even a bit higher than that. That's a really good sign for the future.

Wookie’s data will be interesting for regionals and BVOD. I’m still a bit disappointed with QLD. Melbourne was excellent

Well I'm just doing a like for like comparison but I think the NRL would be extremely pleased with the Melbourne and Perth 16-39 figures. That's where future growth comes from and you'll likely see it continue on as Gen Alpha ages too.
