I can confirm that last years fan version of the Aussie jersey did have the insignia. It’s extremely hard to see that I only just noticed it slightly when looking for it.

A tale of two teams with their shorts tonight. Wests got it right against the Wahs with wearing white shorts, making the contrast between the two sides better with the Wahs in all blue vs Wests in their away jersey paired with the white shorts. While Melbourne are wearing purple shorts with their mostly white away jersey against Parra in an all royal to navy blue kit. This means the contrast on some angles is not the best but the mostly white jersey for the Storm saves the day

Regardless, both teams in their home kits would be totally okay as far as clashes go.

The home team can wear what they want. It's no different really to teams choosing to wear a heritage jersey. Based on the dolphins supporters in the crowd, the black is very popular.

I would have made the upper part of the horns swoop outwards a bit more to get the 2 chest logos into the white so they can be isolated but other than that it's a great recreation of the 02-07 jersey.

I always liked this kit and is very underrated imo. In a comp full of Vs, hoops and stripes (and I’m not against that mind you as it’s very rugbah loig) I thought the stylised bull was very creative, unique and incorporated sponsors well.

they were trying to recreate the original so it is what it is for this one.


The art staff have been winding back the yellow in the designs though which is good.
