I can confirm that last years fan version of the Aussie jersey did have the insignia. It’s extremely hard to see that I only just noticed it slightly when looking for it.

Wests got it right against the Wahs with wearing white shorts, making the contrast between the two sides better with the Wahs in all blue vs Wests in their away jersey paired with the white shorts. While Melbourne are wearing purple shorts with their mostly white away jersey against Parra in an all royal to navy blue kit. This means the contrast on some angles is not the best but the mostly white jersey for the Storm saves the day
