Sacking Ivan at the end of 2015 was an odd one. The injury toll that year was horrific. Not sure the point you are trying to make with he rest of it. If getting Ivan back was to shore up keeping Nath what of it?

If a head coaches worth is measured in winning, then then salary paid to Ivan has been justified no matter what the initial justification.
