You don't think Ashley Klein favoured NSW in game two?

Anyone with eyes and a brain who watched the game thinks he did.

At least two NSW players should have been sinbinned for foul play. NSW continued to agitate until he binned a player from both teams.
He was lenient towards NSW in the first half, then gave Qld a free ride in the second. And this is his problem - he's inconsistent and will piggyback one side or the other depending on the occasion. But the idea he shows favouritism exclusively to one side is nonsense. He's universally awful.

His lenience towards NSW helped them run up a 34-0 lead. It wasn't the sole reason for it, but without his assistance the scoreline wouldn't have been so blown out.

He was quite lenient towards NSW in the 2nd half, too.

The NSW media and fans on here sooked relentlessly about him sending a Blues off in game one. It was the correct decision. Instead of whinging about Klein making the right call, they should have called out Sualii for almost taking Walsh's head off.

Christ is this still not over yet?

I’ll give you the spoilers. Klein will let Queensland get away with murder in the ruck and a 8 metre defensive line. Gus Gould will have his tongue firmly lodged up Qld’s collective arsehole for 80 minutes and Isaah Yeo will get in the way yet again.

This is as predictable as it gets.

The opposite of game 2 will happen albeit not to the same extent on the score board.

QLD will be the ones with a chip on their shoulder this time and they will get plenty of early calls their way.

On FOX even QLD'ers Tallis and Billy Moore pretty much aknowledge this will happen and tonight Pearce and Woods said much the same thing. Braith Anasta also said he was concerned about the Blues copping it from the officials as if it's a forgone conclusion.

When it does happen (and I believe it will) it will just confirm the game is stage managed rather than referees just enforcing the rules. No better than WWE.

My predictions:

- In the pre-game, Gus will give a particular reason why tonights' game is different from all the other Game 3 decider's over the years. He will find any reason to repeat it throughout the game. Any big tackle/ freakish run of play he will cite as further proof of this phenomenon.

- The team who are "out on their feet" will get a run of penalties in their favour within the following 10 minutes

- Danika will look amazing

- Locky and Freddy will compete to see who can come out with the most cooked take

- Both sides will get a convenient run of penalties at different stages in the game, depending on the scoreline and how much the spectacle needs to remain a close one

- The commenters will gush over how Origin "never ceases to deliver/ amaze"

- Gus will sit there during the post-match looking off-screen with a smug expression of content, saying nothing. Until he speaks and reiterates that he "just had a feeling" the game would turn out exactly how it did...

- The following graph will absolutely apply to all discussion of the match by commentators and fans alike:

think game is about 10am UK time - might record it or watch the highlights later- not much interest in origin in the UK as much as there used to be in years gone by - seems the hype has took over the product on the field - after what NZ did in that last game against OZ it seems the Aussies are scared of internationals and they safely want to play each other in origin instead

Don't blow your load too early you've been guilty of that before.

Spencer Leniu man of the series so far. He has eaten QLD alive.
I am resting calm in the fact that I don’t think Angus can hold this purple patch of form more than another few minutes. And Moses doesn’t have the ability to have two perfect games

I think the Qld side looks rather thin in its forward stocks. Having a specialist hooker and a fullback/utility means its middle and edge forwards are going to have to play big minutes tonight. Considering Origin is amongst the fastest paced rugby league played, that means fatigue will be a big factor for Qld which NSW can exploit. Also if they use Ponga in the forwards (e.g. lock) that may blunt his attack as he will have NSW forwards run at him constantly to tire him out.

I have complained over the years about NSW not having enough middle forwards in its side and how Qld would run over them in the forwards. Now it appears that Qld have veered away from its tried and test methods and gone down this same silly path NSW always used to occupy.

I agree with most of this. However, let's play that song again ;)
Qld have some of the best backs in the world suited for SOO.... Dane Gagai, Kalyn Ponga when he gets on will be electric, Valentine Holmes, Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow, Ben Hunt (utility) Selwyn Cobbo and Reece Walsh.
In the NSW backline they too have stars but are not as electric as the Qld ones mentioned. Imo, only Brian To’o can make most defenders look inadequate.
If Qld can hold the middle and edges like you've said, I think they will win.
If it's similar to last game then NSW will get home and Angus gets Man of the Match.
