2nd Ashes Test: Australia v England at Adelaide Dec 3-7 2010

Didn't you guys just lose the last test to them? And they would have thrashed you at Sydney as well.

The last test of the last series against them that we didn't lose playing in English conditions? The Sydney test we won? You're struggling worse than antilag.

Lol NZ are playing an ODI right this very moment (2/19 LOL) and yet all the sheep f**kers are more worried about the Australian match, god bless our little geniused neighbour.

Well I wouldn't but the selectors do or Ricky does. TBH I don't think we have a promising spinner in the country. O'Keefe is a decent spinner but I don't see him being any better than Hauritz at test level. I would have preferred O'keefe ahead of Doherty though.

I know Katich as been one of the more consistent performers in the last couple years but Hughes has to get a crack soon and same with either Ferguson or that Khawaji(sp?) and then I'm not sure much can be done in the spinning dept.

UPDATE: The series average for Cook Trott partnerships in 2010 Ashes is 523. Clearly that will come down when the partnership is broken. However, Cook Trott partnerships have added 482 runs since that last happened.

Yeah agree, Katich is 35 and will only get worse. Khawaja in for Punter or hussey and Smith in for North.

A few young spinners coming through but they need to perform in shield cricket.

Victorians have Holland, Bulls have Boyce, Blues have O'Keefe and a few even younger kids.

Because test cricket>odi cricket.

Haha you can claim that test if you want I guess but everyone knows why you won. I don't really want to rip into Aus cricket but if the fact that you are probably still better then NZ in test cricket is your only saviour atm then that says something.:lol:

5.5 years ago? You mean when Australia were good? The Bangas beat you then. Imagine what the Bangas would do if you played them at home with this current team. Tamim and Shakib could rip you a new one. I mean Tamim did it to England in ENGLAND. You guys cannot handle England in Australia. Could be murder.

180 runs
8 wickets
73 runs

That was the margain of victory in the 3 ODI's we played against them when they last came out here. Keep failing.

Honestly I can't make any sense of paying out NZ right now considering where the Australian team is right now.

Too right mate, we've got 100 people all up who play cricket in New Zealand and that's just anyone who's pronounced unfit by a doctor to play a contact sport. We still manage to produce the occasional R Hadlee or M Crowe every now and then out of the flotsam and jetsam and assorted rabble.

Imagine if we chip a couple of victories against your mob at some stage in the next few years. 22.5 million people and it's your national game. :)

The fact that a Kiwi has to enjoy England's time in the sun says more about NZ cricket and how sh*t you guys have been since day 1 more than anything else. There's an ODI involving your own country RIGHT NOW and you're more interested in Australia.

New Zealand 0

BWHA!!! HA! HA!

The worse team in the history of cricket

We love watching the under-armers get a pasting on their own soil.

Australia's national sport!! :lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

I'd rather be World Champions at Rugby League than World Champions of some contrived 50/50 bullsh*t...that craps not even real cricket.......

And on that note, why would you pick a journeyman plodder who averages 48 in 1st class cricket in Doherty over one of your talented youngsters such as Smith or even more so O'Keefe?

Such backwards thinking.

LOL @ Haddin.

Can't catch for sh*t.
