Tend to agree.

A three-figure-lead-plus to India and we are well and truly outsiders.. And a big three figure lead and our best hope could be a draw.

Our batting hasn’t been impressive in either test, unless you consider the 2nd innings in Adelaide as somewhat impressive when India’s morale was through the floor.

Would need a Smith masterclass or Labuschagne to get a big century to get us back with a hope. I can’t see any of the others likely to get a ton.

But test cricket can dish up surprises so that’s what I’m hoping for.
