PB, are sure supercoach won't bow to the wishes of the hillbillies over there who'll all be baying for Marshmallow's inclusion?

If anything, maybe Stoinis might get a gig

Has scored some runs in Shield and could be a far better 5th bowling option than Levers

Jadeja in for Rohit. Same output with the bat plus Jadeja will be a bowling option.

Finch and Rohit are basically the same person, let them stick to whiteball cricket

If a bowling option comes in for Rohit it’ll be Boovy Kumar and Ashwin will slide up one. You wouldn’t play two spinners in Perth.

I would have thought Burns in for Finch. That's it.

I really think Burns has burnt his bridges after his comments when he was dropped after the series against the Windies, if I'm on the coaching staff or anyone at CA I would never have him near the team, refused to work on his deficiencies and virtually blamed the selectors for his being dropped.

That attitude has no place in any sports team imo

ok I was unaware of those.

Any other options to open the innings? Not Burns. Not Renshaw. Who?

That’s a bit unusual cause he was flow over to South Africa for the last TEST of the series there only about 8 months ago

What they will name:

Finch
Harris
Khawaja
S.Marsh
Handscomb
Head
Paine+*
Cummins
Starc
Lyon
Hazlewood

12th: Stonis

The Howard effect lingers. Any sight of a tired bowler at training this week and the all-rounder will come in.

Personally happy to see some Head/Finch magic to give the pace battery a rest.

Actually surprised by Warne's comments. Dropping a Victorian for a Victorian who plays for WA. I would have thought he'd give him at least one more chance.

Still haven't been able to find what Burns said. Still the bloke has been scoring runs of late, so any heat of the moment stuff should be forgotten if he can help us win a game.

I guess Finch scoring some runs in UAE gives him another chance, another failure in Perth surely means he's back in BBL.
Based on Adelaide, Finch was playing for his BBL spot anyway.
