Great test so far. I can't see us getting 240 odd but it should be a very interesting 4th innings.

Is Siddle the dumbest bowler we have?
What do you think???

Pitch flattening out, the new ball will still be a challenge though. Siddle bowled well apart from his stint to Boult at the end. Lyon continue to throw it up and reap the rewards. Pattinson is a star, can't wait to see him Cummins and Hazelwood in the same team. Starc is poo, hopefully he is nowhere near the MCG on boxing day.

Anyone have bets on Hughes getting out for under 10?

geez that's nice and positive mate...:) OK now the real test for our batting order...who's going to stand up? Clarke looked reliable and going for his shots yesterday. Hope Hughes shakes his demons and bats the house down! He always looks so...shellshocked but then Katich always looked the same...

Why not? The new ball will be where this test is won and lost. If we can get through it 1 or 2 out, things will get easier, especially if the sun stays out.

I think some people are harsh on Starc. Yes he's not quite test level yet but the potential is certainly there. He's just having a bit of trouble finding his length at this stage but I do believe that he'll end up being a very good bowler for you guys.

Yeah, maybe. In 2 or 3 years time. He is not up to it in 2011. It's just the truth. If he bowled exactly as he does, but with his other arm he'd be sooooo far down the pecking order you wouldn't have even heard of him. Potential? For sure. But barely at FC level right now.

Sun comes out we'll shit this in. Clouds stay over and the ball swings we're f**ked.

Starc should never have been selected before Cutting.

He's a bigger joke than Siddle.

Cutting was injured and they went with Starc purely for variation imo.

He's not an international standard bowler yet but he may be one day.

Just trying to counteract Bunniesderp's jinx.

Because the intellectual lightweights have their favourites, and Hughes scoring runs, and having a 3rd innings that's better than anything Khawaja or Warner have done this season would make them look stupid.

you mean like Hughes is one of your favourites,

hypocrite
