Bangladesh v Pakistan, yeah? :D
I am not sure if anyone here's been keeping up with that, but Pakistan are looking fantastic (I am aware of the limitations of their opposition), I think they can pose a real challenge to England in the upcoming series against them.

sad about Khawaja, because he was starting to look really good, but he probably won't get another test for a little while

Dam he looks so good but can't convert his starts. Him and Hughes look to be gone for Boxing day unless Warner is injured.

I am quite pleased that Warner's making runs, I have come to like him and I like his rise to test playing. His current performance pleases me greatly

Thanx for twizzle for bringing up bunniesman gold.:lol:

Warner has impressed me, even when he got out cheaply. He looks like he wants to play for his country, unlike some batsmen in the past who just assumed their place is a given. Khawaja has the same look about him.

He is looking very good. A bit of luck but he isn't playing stupid shots and looks solid and dangerous. He probably thought he'd be pidgeonholed as a short form player and has had to work hard in shield to overcome that. Hopefully he can cement his place.

Just had a look through a list of Australian batsmen who had potential, stepped up and got owned, got dropped and went on to succeed. Shield cricket is a far better place to learn when to leave a ball.

Is anyone else having issues with the grandstand stream? Skulls cackling keeps getting cut out.

Khawaja and Huhes out, Marsh and Watson in. Simple changes. Marshif fit is better than Khawaja, and Hughes is horrible!

Bangladesh are dead set horrific. They've gone nowhere in the last 10 years as far as tests are concerned. I think if I rocked up at Dhaka, told Jamie Siddons that I had a Bangladeshi grandmother I'd be in the team as captain and opening the batting and bowling.

Pakistan seem to have started to get some of the toxins out of their side that was destroying them.

I'm gutted that khawaja hasn't pressed on here.

Still got a long way to go imo. First hour or so this morning will be crucial, Aussies will cruise home if Warner & Hughes can really get going. I was only looking at scores online yesterday, but it sounds as though they were starting to clock late yesterday before the rain. Something like 19 wickets have fallen pre-lunch in the first 3 days

Mate I know what you're saying but this is NZ we're talking about. We don't have a winning culture.

God forbid we make this f*cking easy on ourselves. A former captain three years past his best inexplicably throws his wicket away. Another quick one and we are in a bit of trouble here, still plenty of runs to get. Unbelievable

Ponting gone :D

Good we (NZ) have put up a fight here.. ultimately the lack of ability with the bat has been costly - I'm keen for Guptill, Ryder and Southee to be dropped until the latter two find form, and the former develops a first class record suggesting he should play tests... Daniel Flynn and Boult in for me, and perhaps Ryder to open...
